At Sporter, the security of your personal data is our highest priority. This privacy policy explains how your data is collected, used, and protected when you use our mobile application and the sporter.life website.

1. Data Collected

We may collect the following data when you register or use our application:

• Profile Information: Name, surname, email address, and profile photo. Our app may request access to your device's camera or gallery to take and select a profile photo.
• Location Data: We access your device location to show nearby sports events and other users' ads on the map. This data is only used while the app is open.
• Health Data (Apple Health): With the user's explicit consent, data such as step count, calories burned, and heart rate are collected via Apple HealthKit. This data is processed to provide health analytics on the user's profile.
• Content: Sports event listings and chat messages you share.
• Security and Transaction Data: Session, moderation, block and report records, and technical logs required to operate the service securely.

2. Purpose of Data Use

The data we collect is used solely for the following purposes:

• Displaying sports events at correct locations on the map.
• Facilitating team building and communication (chat) among athletes.
• Ensuring app security and content moderation.
• Displaying weekly and daily sports statistics via Apple Health integration.

3. Data Sharing

Sporter does not sell your personal data or Apple Health data to third-party advertising networks and does not share it for marketing. To provide the service, data may be shared on a limited basis with Supabase, which provides authentication, database, and file-storage infrastructure; with Apple or Google if you choose the relevant sign-in provider; and with competent authorities when legally required.

4. Data Security

Your data is protected by industry-standard security measures and encryption methods. Our infrastructure is securely hosted on Supabase.

5. Account Deletion

Users have the right to permanently delete their accounts, chat messages, events, and all associated data via the "Delete Account" button on the Settings page within the app, or by sending an email to info@sporter.life.

6. Retention, Permissions, and Age Limit

Personal data is retained while your account is active and for a limited period when necessary for security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations; it is then deleted or anonymized. You may revoke Location and Apple Health permissions at any time in your device settings. Sporter is intended only for people aged 13 or older.
